Top Site

This product allows you to set up your own top site or top sites.

How Top Sites Work

One person (and this will be you!) runs the top site as part of their web site.
Other webmasters can join (become members) of the top site. When they join, their web site appears in the top site listing.
Each of these member webmasters is given a special voting link to place on their site.
The special voting link leads back to your top site, but automatically gives the corresponding member webmaster one "vote".
The more "votes" that any member of the top site gets, the higher ranked they are in the top site - and higher ranked sites tend to get more visitors back from the top site.
It is in each member's interest to encourage their visitors to click on the voting link (and visit your top site) in order to gain as many "votes" as possible (and thus get much traffic back from the top site as possible).

In short, top sites are a kind of traffic exchange mechanism between the webmaster members. Those members who contribute the most traffic ("votes") tend to get the most back of it.

So what do you get from running a top site?

Answer: You benefit the most, by getting to display your banner advertisements (or other content) to every single visitor to the top site.

The script requires web hosting with PHP and MySQL, and includes setup instructions, and a range of configuration options.

The script is delivered as download, including instructions, but does not include installation services. The customer is responsible for installing or configuring the scripts themselves. Where necessary, we may be prepared to make additional special arrangements to install the products into a customer's web site, although an extra installation fee will have to be mutually agreed in this case.
